Ten under 8s made their way through driving rain to Cambridgeshire to face Wisbech RUFC, a team who are a great pleasure to play against. The rain stopped, cloud cover lifted and play began.
By mid -way through match 1 Boston were trailing 4-0 but thanks to 4 tries by Aaron Dowse and one each from Sam Booth and Joe Busby the match ended with Wisbech winning 8-6.
Match two was a tight affair, the teams drawing 6-6, Joe Busby scoring 4 tries and Aaron 2 tries.
The last match began with Boston running away 4-1 by half-time. The second half saw Wisbech bounce back and take the lead 6-5. In the last three minutes Boston scored three times to win 8-6. Aaron scored 2 tries, Joe Busby 4 tries and one each from Pete Ward and Rosey Langford completed a fantastic team effort.
