Under 11s at the seaside

Cleethorpes 28 – 21 Boston
Cleethorpes 7 - 19 Boston
Boston U11s demonstrated great team effort in what was only their second competitive game of the season against a strong Cleethorpes side.
Game play was pretty even in both matches with Boston working hard to keep the ball moving and available. Rowan Mason and Adam Johnson were the try scorers with Mason converting the three tries successfully and there was good tackling from stand-off Mark Hendy and good passing from scrum-half Josh Cook.
Cleethorpes were given a penalty in the second half and caught Boston napping, to score their winning try.
The Boston coach's pep talk before the second match seemed to hit the mark and by half time Boston were winning 19 – 0 with tries from Mason, Hendy and Johnson. Cleethorpes just managed to get a converted try before the whistle blew. Credit should go to Boston's newest players Adam Johnson, Dominic Reynolds and Toby Scott, whose contribution to the game was excellent.
